I'm a musician and a writer, and most people label me as a hippie (I'm against labeling in most senses). I use musician and writer loosely, and many people can back that statement up.
I will not answer sex questions. So don't even ask. I will, however, answer questions about relationships (at a PG level), writing, music, and my opinions on pop culture and the like. Now then, for the fair warning stuff:
-I am a classic rock fan. There's not much "modern" music that I like, although I do enjoy some modern rock bands. However, I'm not a huge rap fan. Or country. Really I'm just a rock fan, though I'll "try" to be open minded.
-I'm very much into humor and trying to be funny. I love watching comedies, stand up, and writing funny fluff. I'm also sarcastic, so that's just a heads up for any responses I make.
-I play guitar and I'm a songwriter. So if you ask questions about music and poetry/songs, I'll most likely answer from the guitarist/singer's standpoint (i.e. you ask about music, I'll answer in how the guitar is, and how the lyrics/singing is. I might be able to critique the other instruments, but no promises are made).
-One final thing, I'm not "l337," and I can't read internet lingo too well (I can read some, but it's not a cake-walk). I'll try to understand and answer, but once again no promises are made.
-Don't get snippy at me. You're the one online asking someone advice, so just be glad I'm not being a jerk. Because I can, and if you get snippy I will.
-Rate me if you wish, but it's seriously not required. I'm happy to help you (if I do infact help).

Well, there are a number of my poems at www.fictionpress.com/~guitardude. I would suggest going there first if you really want to see some of my poems. On the page, if you look right underneath the name of the poem/story, it'll give a quick little description of it.
As for hearing it... I don't actually have any recording devices, so it's not possible for me to record a song and put it on a website so other people can hear it. But the website has a number of my poems, so that'll work (I have no idea why you'd actually want to read my rubbish anyway).

Ok, My names Mike and I was wondering, I'm a very random person and will do anything to get a laugh from anyone. So. I do alot of random stupid things just to get a luagh, but sometimes the things I do make people think I'm just a retard. So, I'm wondering if anyone thinks that people like me are funny and great to have aound? And what I mean by people like me is, people with no care of what people think and will is unhibited and will act wild and crazy just for kicks. (link)

Hah, well I'm one of those people, and from what I understand we're fun people to hang around, because there's always a surprise coming. Others enjoy random actions and humor, and as long as you don't feel bad doing it, then it ought to be fine and people will want you around.

Alternative, eh? Well, funky names are pretty cool. I would suggest The Fried Weasels. Another pretty cool name is Epic, though that might be taken by some random band. But Jimi covers, hrmm, how about Electric Experience? Or something along those lines, I don't know. It's rather hard to come up with cover band names for other people, just pick your favorite song and play with the name a bit.
