Q: is anyone here schizophrenic? it was one of my vocab words and the definition is "a state characterized by the coexistence of contradictory or incompatible elements." what do they mean by different elements? like you're living in two different worlds? i once saw a movie associated with someone who is schizophrenic, but what is life like?

for one i cant even believe that someone would say that ppl with schizo cant use a computer. well im schizophrenic and i hallucinate alott wich means you hear an see stuff that other people dont. also its like your body can be over there living an talking an all but your spirit wich you are is somewhere else watching your body wich i do not know how to explain. most people with schizophrenia like to be alone but i am the oppasite i am out with friends every single day an i have to be. we are not in control of their movements or thoughts and is so hard to talk in a conversation. it is like you cant talk no matter how hard you try, your mind just will not let you. schizophrenia means like split person, people think it is like split personality disorder but it is not schizo is like you are not in control of yourself, an easy way to put it is that like say bob and joe are two totally different people and your body can be acting like bob but your mind will be as joe watchin bob and in derealization(you dont believe andything as real because it doesnt feel like it is) or depersonalization(you feel like your mind and body are separated and talks to eachother) its also said that they cant have good relationships as in family trust or partner love or friendship. i have many hard things i go through along with schizo but i have a boyfriend and friends that understand me pretty well, im a social so i am the oppasite of a hermit kind of schizophrenic wich makes it alot easier for me. i say schizophrenics can do anything they set their mind to like an average person if they do not go around haveing people feel sorry for them, anythings possible.

fourteen and loving it sometimes -into the partying and concerts –I love my guitar n figuring out mental issues stuff, and my boyfriend with all my heart five months as of xmas c: -iv ben through quite a bit and it doesnt seem to ever stop for me, I am schizophrenic and bipolar -but I am out with friends or my boyfriend every single day because I don’t like to be alone I am the social kind wich helps me soo much -my bf is my bff, he keeps me going in life even through my meltdowns and eposodes he knows i love him with my whole heart he is the sweetest and knows everything about me -i have two old accounts on here randomgrl777 and intheriverbeloww but i lost the password to both :( but il answer anything honestly so just ask
