Q: Hey im 18/f ive been dating my first love off and on since i was like 15. We were really in love the first year of our relationship then things started to get not so great and we started fighting all the time. Sometimes we wouldnt even know what we were fighting about. This past year we've broken up and gotten back together quite a bit. My mom really doesnt approve of him but i love him and thats all that matters. Recently we got into a fight and we started seeing other people. (dating for about a week) he started dating someone else to. Now we're talking again and talking about getting back together. I really am tired of fighting and so is he but i love him to death! Should i keep trying to make it work or move on? :(

im in a close-to-same relationship. i think that if he loves you and you love him go for it. if you have the passion there, dont let it burn out without experiencing it while it happens. its rare to find someone like this, even if you dont end up getting married, dont throw it away now if you're still thinking about him and he still thinking about you. from my experience if you are together and fighting its 100 times better than if you're apart and wondering.
