My friend is going out with a guy that's a year younger than us (whom i like too.)He's like my best guy friend and i feel a little protective of him because a lot of people just want to go out with him for his looks and it's so annoying to me because they don't even know him the way i do. He flirts with me online and we can besically talk about anything. His girlfriend now won't even talk to him and she wants to break up with him, although i don't think she will. Please help! What should i do! i can't talk to him alone anymore because of her and i really just want to be with him! Should i ask her how she feels about him and and how she feels the relationship is going, in a friendly way? I'm not sure what i should do. I need another person's oppinion. yea just get her talkin about the r*ship and see how she feels and if yall are as good as friends as you say yall are then just talk to him but make sure he knows you have his best intrests at heart. just let him know wut you think of her but in a nice way.

I am 14, in ninth grade, and I am female.
Okay, first I'm going to give a little backround information.
I had a boyfriend that tried to cheat on me with his ex girlfriend. I knew that I couldn't trust him ever again, so I broke up with him yesterday. Don't worry, I feel really good about it.
Well, a few days ago, I found out from one of my friends that another friend of mine, Ricky, likes me. At first, I wasn't sure I could trust the friend that told me, T.J., because T.J. is weird like that. Then, my best friend Megan told me yesterday that Ricky has liked me for a long time.
My question is, is it okay to go ahead and date Ricky so soon after dumping my previous boyfriend?
