Q: My boyfriend promised me he wouldnt drink because i felt uncomfortable about it, said he went on vacation with his friends , and his friend gave him alcohol mixed with another drink, i think it was pepsi, i dont really know anything about alcohol, but he said that he drank by mistake, didnt know it was alcohol and that it wasnt his fault, and as soon as he realized how strong it was and that it was alcohol he didnt drink it, i dont know if hes lying, cause when i asked if he drank he said if he were to drink hed get wasted, hes the type of guy thats like "If you wanna do something wrong,do it right" so he said if he really wanted to do it he would have done more, and it was a mistake it could happen to anyone, my question is, can u really not tell the diff? or is he lying to me?... thank you..

okay first of all you need to confront him and ask him politely making him feel comfortable...this would ensure that he's honest with you. If you pressurize him, chances are he could be lying. So you need to tell him that you'll love him no matter what and you'll forgive him as long as he's honest. If he admits that he did drink, maintain your composure and tell him that you love him and how you feel about him getting wasted. The way you phrase your statements is a key factor in changing people. Look on the bright side, he'll be amazed over your concern for him and may swear that he wont ever drink again (IF he supposedly did)
