hey i'm 13 in august, and i don't know if it's sad, but i've never had a REAL relationship or anything... i feel like i really want to kiss someone, and have a real relationship, but do you think i'm too young? or what? I mean, school starts soon, and there might be new guys n stuff, and its my last year of middle school, and i dont want to miss out on teh fun of being one of the oldest... advice, please?

I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was 14. Incidentally, that was also when I had my first kiss. I was a freshman in high school. It's perfectly fine to be 13 and never had a real relationship, I know people who are 17 and 18 who have never had a real relationship, and there's nothing wrong with them. I'd say.. just be looking for friends, until you get a little bit older. All the people I know who started dating when they were younger realised that there wasn't a need for it. And maybe, if you look around at all the guy friends you already have, there might be one you're interested in. As I've found, most the guys I've wanted to date were the ones I've known for years, not the ones I just met.
