I'm young, but age doesn't represent your maturity or the number of experiences you've had in your life. I understand people when no one else will.
If you need me I'll be there. Just an email away. I of course have hobbies. I love writting stories and poems to express how I'm feeling. I also love to draw and I'm pretty darn good at it too!
I've been working since I was 7 years old. Yes, 7. It wasn't child labour or anything, so don't get excited. I just worked for people I knew for free. Of course now it is a part time career now and I earn some money for whatever I do. I'm still studying and intend on keeping my grades up too!
So, don't put it pass me that I don't know anything about career politics or work stress. I have that too. Since 7 too. hehee. :)
Good luck people

Okay,
So I think most of you know about my ex-boyfriend issue. And my last questions subject was "ex-boyfriend gone mad" Well, I have a NEW and better BF, and I told my parents and they talked to my ex-boyfriends parents and sorted everything out, kinda. But now I never get to see my ex-boyfriend. And I'm not crying about it either. But I DO see him in my dreams, and I don't know why! In my dreams he acts like he use to act when we wasn't abusive and lieing. In my dreams he acts like the person that I use to like. But then, toward the end of my dream there's this voice that says to me that he's no longer like that person. And I no that, so why and I having dreams about him?? I need your advice!
Sincerely,
Dream (link)

HI
Really, are you sure you have closed off your feelings with this guy? Coz you should know something, people who have dreams, usually take these dreams and images from real life problems. Mainly yours.
I seriously think you still have feelings for this guy. Yes even though he's such a lieing and abusive BF. It's coz you felt for him so much the last time you are now starting to feel the 'itch' (as some might call it). It happens.
what you need to do, is to stop convincing yourself that you don't have feelings for him and REALLY get rid of them. You will eventually, coz time heals all wounds as cliche as that sounds. Remember that you have a new BF and that the ex wasn't the one for you.
Eventually, you will heal and the dreams will go, but in the meantime, ask yourself if you really still have feelings for him. Remeber, the 1st step to recovery is to first acknowledge that there is an injury.
If you need anymore advice from me you can email me teri_advice@hotmail.com I'd like to hear how your dreams turn out next time! ;)
good luck

Okay i like this girl a whole lot but i am to afraid to talk to her becuase i got helled back this year so now she's in eighth grade and i'm in seventh so should i still talk to her (link)

Hey there!
I know what you must be going through, coz I had a close friend go through the exact same thing. I must tell you, that you are not any less intelligent just coz you got held back. You just didn't apply yourself. Keep telling yourself this and always remember that you Are smart and this will help incredibly with you insecurity. :)
Insecurity is a big issue esp. with relationships. Most of the relationships end coz of insecurity on one or both sides. Help yourself a great deal and make sure it doesn't happen here. As for whether you should talk to her, SURE!! Why not? Since you're smart and all why the hell not?!
Anyway, if you ever need anymore advice, email me teri_advice@hotmail.com Remember no insecurities!!
Good luck

Well i don't know but i would like to know if being a little fat has to do with any thing i just can't seem to get a girl to like me i'm nice i am a beliver of the Lord what should i do? (link)

Hey there!
Listen here, i know you're feeling pretty low right now and I REALLy don't want to add on to the troubles, but yes, it is true that girls are sometimes too judgemental. Especially in the looks department. Mostly, you can expect most of the popular girls to ignore you just because you are a little overweight.
Don't fret however, because I was fat once and I was still able to snag a boyfriend. Maybe, all you really have to do is keep yourself open and not cower with rejection. Take pride in your finer qualities and don't ever be insecure about you weight issue. You are who you are and if those girls can't see the good behind the looks then, it's not your loss, but theirs.
Basically I know for a fact that it s**ks bigtime that people reject you because of your looks and that me telling you to keep you head up isn't going to help much. But just listen
The first step of being less insecure, is telling yourself everyday, that you have MANY fine qualities. Tell yourself this, however NEVER deny the fact that you are fat. Never. If you do, you're only setting yourself up for more hurt.
Once you accept the fact that you are fat, you will have fewer problems with rejection. The next step now, is to get a girl. Don't ever think that you aren't worthy of any girl. Ever. Be courageous, ask girls out, but be frank with yourself, are you asking her out coz she's cute? Or coz you like her personality. If it's the former, then you are just like the girls who snubbed you. If it's the latter, then go ahead and have a good time. REmember, insecurity does not work wonders.
If you ever have any other troubles, religion or whatsoever, email me and we can chat. I'd like to help. teri_advice@hotmail.com
God bless, good luck

Here's the deal.....I have already asked you that question about me and this kid liking eachother but his friend was in the way...remember me? Well, to make things worse, he has now found out that he is moving. His friend is finally over me and we now can date freely, but since the guy I like is moving, it is making things worse. Me and this guy have been talking and he explained to me that if we went out it would kill to move later on. So we decided not to go out. However, we are still majorly in love. We act like a couple, and do things as a couple, but we just don't call ourselves a couple. I don't know what to do. It is going to hurt so much when he moves away and I don't know if I will be able to get over it. This is how he feels, too. Is there anything I can do to help him? I think it is worse for him than for me. Whenever I try to help him or make him feel better, I end up making him feel worse because he knows he will have to leave me sometime or another. Help! I have tried focusing my attention on other guys...but it doesn't work. Any suggestions? (link)
|
well firstly, why is it killing him to leave? Is it because that you'll never see each other again? You can always write or call each other right? That's what love is about making the impossible work.
What I'm afraid of is that you two will split up just coz he's moving. Why? Ask yourself this question. Is it because deep down you know that maybe you don't exactly LOVE him as much and that he might get new girlfriends overseas? Why? If these questions are not bothering you at all, then, you 2 should stick together and work it out. Visit each other during the holidays and call or write.
As for the I can't think of any other guy thing, that's not true. You can. I remember having this case once. It felt like Love and stung like love. He went abroad for studies and I felt like I could never love anyone ever again. We were still attached, never broke up, but when he did return, I realised I had absolutely no feelings for him at all! I wasn't unfaithful or anything, it's just the feeling just fizzled out.
Mind you that it was a month b4 he returned. Time heals all wounds and yours will definitely heal, no matter how deep the cut. Trust that you'll recover and don't do anything foolish.
If you need to talk to anyone, I'm here. You can always shout at me scold me for my uncaring words, I'll be here for you. teri_advice@hotmail.com
Good luck, take care,

Hi, I'm a 20-year-old female, I have never had a boyfriend and I have never dated before. Is there anything I can do to meet guys to date? Just for fun I mean, I know guys my age rarely want anything serious. And I know my happiness doesn't depend on a guy, I'm very happy by myself, thank you; but I really want to know what is like to have someone pick you up and share dinner and a movie with you. Any ideas?
Thank you.

Hey tallulah!
I really think you need advice. Since you know that really meeting guys in the ways suggested might not get you your dreamboat, I can rest easy. So, I'll just dive into it.
There are many way to get a date or at least meet guys. You could always try to go to these speed dating places. If you go to the right places, they're fun fast and most importantly not long-term. Of course, it could turn long term if you asked him out and made him go steady with you.
Another way, is the obvious ask you friends to introduce someone. Although it might be embaressing, I assure, there a TON of things that are WAY worse than asking for help. I should know.
Perhaps you could go to personal ads in the papers or magazines. There are always people there looking to hook up with other people. Surely, there's someone there to catch your fancy.
One thing though. When you go through all these ideas, you must be willing and brave enough to go through with them. Just remember. Oh and another thing. When you are out with a guy, please make it clear that it might not be a long term thing ESP if the guy you are out with isn't your type. You really do NOT want to hurt the guy right?
Fair is fair enough and I think it's high time you kicked some guys into the dating arena.
Good luck and plesant dates,

Hey there!
What you've got sounds to me like a little crush. Not real love or anything serious. relieved? Well, hear me out.
You probably just enjoy the time you two spend with each other and you're so comfy with each other that you feel compelled to be more than just friends. It's a totally normal reaction, but you must differenciate your love for a friend and love.
I've had experiences like this before and really, there are some ways to actually see if you are in love with him or whether you really like him or, just wanna be friends with him. I can't explain it all in a single letter, so email me if you want to know, but I'll just tip you on some stuff that I think is going on.
He's probably cute right? That's probably why you feel attracted to him. The physical attracted. Second, you're good friends right? So that gives you two a good bond. But third. You don't got it yet.
Third is the fact that you know all his faults and his weaknesses and yet you really like him despite. Now that you don't have. If you do, then maybe you're getting something more serious than you think.
I'd love to discuss it with you more, just feel free to email me at teri_advice@hotmail.com
Anyhow, good luck,
