My names Katelynn, but I prefer to be called Katie/Kate. I live in Canada and Im a Pagan. I do have a rough family life. I am very very shy and I have anxiety, I find that I love helping people out when people have problems, or need someone to talk to. Ok so i have liked this guy since last fall or winter (*bob*) and still really really do. I havent ever told him but i know he knows or at least knew it. He heard it from his other friend who is also my friend. The thing is jus recently we hung out (always do) and we hung out wi another one of his friends *billy*. well i have hung out wi bob n billy both (since theyre friends)n now billy really likes me. well my feelins are so strong for bob i havent had any crushes or even thought bout anyone the same way till now bc billy is so sweet and thats what gets me.we text bc i dont have good reception at my house n he makes me feel really really good n were gettin a lil cozy. but its all jus text. how do i know if i really like him or the phone?! its almost like i start to think billy is bob but then have to make myself realize he isnt. i was lookin at some pics of billy n i jus dont know if i think hes that attractive bc i keep comparing him to bob. its not fair to him i know but i cant help it. if i dont think hes attractive then its not gonna work. i can already tell that. i jus dont know if im in love wi my phone or the actual guy behind it. help!!!! ps. i still really really like bob. but i love what billy says to me. ugh i dont know what to do.

I have had the same problem as you many times. It's really simple it's not confusing either.
So here is somethings for you to consider:
Hangout with "Bob" alone for a few days and see if you still have strong feelings for him.
Next go hang out with "Billy" for a few days, if you find one more attractive then the other then your problem is solved.
You can still text him and everything but you will know what feeling you have for each person, its not bad if you like them both but sometimes it gets really frustrating in the end when you have to figure out your true feelings for each of them.
Or, you could do what some people do and just keep on talking to "Billy" and "Bob" and see how everything plays out over time. If you still have strong feelings for both of them, try and find which one you think is better for you.
But you have to remember anything said on the phone is different then when your hanging out with him at the park or at your house. So he may be saying sweet, and cute things on the phone but that is sometimes what they want you to think they are instead of that they really are off of the phone.
