hey- i am insanely in love with this guy. hes funny and sweet and nice.. lets call him Jim. ok so we used to be good friends and like we would talk in school and w.e.[this was all when him and my bff were going out] and then he randomly stopped talking to me when they broke up. now me and my bff arent friends at all and i absolutely hate her and i really dont think thats the reason. Now he doesnt even give me the time of day and he acts like he hates me. okay and theres this "popular" girl ..lets call her Shannon.. so Jim is obsessed with Shannon and is always like all over her but she has a b/f and she definetly isnt into him so its stupid. we make the PERFECT couple b.c. we're totally alike and like all his friends are friends with me and all of my friends are friends with him and we both think alike and everything. i really want him to like me or at least talk to me because i miss him a lot and like i said.. we're a perfect couple.. but i have a feeling he would never be my friend [or more.] because hes obsessed with shannon (BUT SHE HAS A B/F).

so my question(s):
1. how can i become closer to him?
2. why do you think he doesnt like me? did i do something wrong?
3. how do i make him realize that shannon hates him and doesnt care b.c. she has a b/f?

i know this is long and kind of confusing but PLEASE help me.. i need it.

Okay so lets take this one step at a time.
1. Just try to start talking to him. i dont really think theres any other way that you can get close too him than that. drop hints that you want to talk to him, or just be bold and go for it girl!
2. My best bet is either hes upset with you because you hate his ex (thats if hes still friends with her) or that because hes not going out with your friend anymore he doesnt feel like HAS to talk to you (this happened to me before) He probably doesnt know that you want to talk to him.
3. He probaby knows she has a gf right? Why dont you try to tell her if she can help you out? Maybe she could let him know shes not interested, or just tell him if you get the chance! Im sure if you tryed to get to know him, and he knew you liked him he would def. get over her.

im 15/f, who is straight, and ive never been on a date or had a boyfriend or had a first kiss! ive turned guys down before so its not like i havent had options but none of them were someone i could picture dating! so is something wrong with me, is that a turn off for guys that i have almost no experience? please help, will rate 5's!

Of course nothings wrong with you. Your just not ready to do all that stuff yet. Once you find the guy you like, itll be fine. He'll like you for who you are, not how much experience ouve had. Its better to wait for a guy you actually do picture yourself dating, and you do like, then get with guys you dont like for experience. Your fine :] Good luck. Please rate. ExOh-Teresa
