if you want to paint your walls then pick a light color you like..then you could put a darker version of that color on an area rug..try to match your bed spread with both those colors and other things in your room..such as baby blue walls..a semi dark area rug..white or baby blue sheets and pillows and a darker comforter..any color would work with that..good luck!

if your pretty girly id go with a pink or purple..even a sky/baby blue would work

ok, i moved into a new room like, 2 years ago, and now i'm in the loft. it's really big, but the carpet is screwed up cuz when me and my brothers were little, we spilled a whole bunch of crap on it. and i want 2 paint it, but i can't cuz 1) it's plaster and 2) it's connected 2 the living room, and i'd have 2 paint it 2, which my parents won't let me. i can't have curtains 4 my windows either becuz they're shaped like triangles. lol. i don't know what 2 do. does anyone have any decorating ideas? thanx.

what you could do is put up collages of pictures of your friends and posters on the walls..like my friend..but if your parents don't agree with that, i've seen on decorating shows people put fabrics on the walls, it's also very pretty if you pick the right kind:)..for the carpet you could buy area rugs, that way you could cover up most of the stains
