does anyone know of any good ways to get better at sight reading? i'm really bad at playing runs [going up or down a scale]. i think it might be because i can't read music as fast as its supposed to be played. does anyone have any advice. thanks (link)

Well ... because this is meant to be a brilliant answer ... I guess I've gotta be a brilliant person! So ... I am amazing at sight-reading, no seriously. I can sight read grade 8 stuff and I've never played the piano before.
Okay, that's just so unfunny.
I'm on grade 7 and I'm great at sight-reading, no joke, i'm not just bragging. I have no good advice whatsoever.
