I am currently a college student. I am studying Psychology and plan on getting my PhD or PsyD to become a counseling psychologist. I am also minoring in music because I love to sing. I have been singing and playing the piano since I was about 5 years old. I also love to ride horses. I have the most perfect boyfriend in the world and I love him so much.
I have always had a rough life growing up and that is why I am going to be a Psychologist because I think I can help people cope with the things that I had to deal with.

Im a sparno2 with a very wide range from alto2 to a sparno1. So I can sing almost any female song that you can throw at me. Well I have a tryout next week for a musical and Im supose to be singing a song from any boardway musical that I want. But it has to fit my person. I in my late teens early 20s and Im not the romantic type. But Im a wonderful actress. Any ideas of what I should sing? (link)

I am also a fan of wicked. I really like the song "Defying Gravity" and if you can hit those notes, everyone will be highly impressed. The song is not a real fast paced song or a real slow song, so I think it fits perfectly in the middle of the two. It is also a song that is great if you are a wonderful actress because when singing the song, you will need a great attitude because the song is about the lead character pushing forward and not letting anyone bring her down. So if you can act and hit those notes, everyone would be blown away! Good luck!

I play piano and sing.
Heres my problem: I always hear these songs in movies and on the radio and stuff that I want to learn how to play and sing. Well, if I download or buy the sheet music at the store, Its like how to play ALL PARTS of the song all like combined in one line of music. What I want is JUST the piano part, with the vocal part seperate. I dont want the vocal part intertwined with basicly what is the accompaniment. Thats what I mean-- I only want the accompaniment. Because obviosuly Im going to sing the vocal part- I dont need this peice of super complicated music with a ton of crazy chords. I just want the piano part seperate. So first of all where can I get just the piano accompaniment to peices of music that are just piano and voice? [peices I am thinking of in particular are "Imagine" by John Lennon and "Thank You for the Music" from the movie Mamma Mia] Where can you find EXACTLY what to play/sing so it sounds just like the origional recording/performance?
Another related problem is I cannot find like whole band music. What I mean is like for example, take any Beatles song. What exactly is each guitar part, what did the drummer play, and especially, what exactly did each person sing because I want to be able to have the harmonies! I mean, not each person sings the exact same part-they harmonize! (I play piano/sing, and my brother is a mind-blowing guitarist, and we have plenty of friends who could back up on drums. We want to cover other bands songs, but where can we get all the exact parts??)
Any advice on where to get my hands on this type of sheet music is greatly appreciated! (link)
