recently i started liking some music from the 90s to the present day and musicains and bands from the 60s and 70s seem to have aged and ones the 90s and 2000s are still going strong and not real old curious to know why bands from the 90s to now are not as old as the ones from the 60s to the 80s ? Well, the people who grew up with the 90's and 2000's music are still quite young so that music gets played more often for that age group. The older music is just that, older. The people who grew up with it are retiring and the younger people are not always a big fan of that era of music. Basically "hit" radio stations play for people who are teens-40's, meaning the 90's music is still good for them.
The "oldies" stations play the older things catering toward people 40+ so really only people who already liked that music are the ones listening to it and that era isn't gaining in popularity because of it.

There are 3 types of vibrato, for violin or viola. They are arm, wrist, and finger vibrato. I was wonder what people's opinions were on which type of vibrato is better? I currently use arm vibrato, but I've recently been trying wrist vibrato. I think wrist vibrato sounds really pretty, since several people in my orchestra use it. (They are the more advanced players I guess you could say...) So I asked my assistant teacher if he could help me with wrist vibrato..... but he said why don't I just use arm? I thought he would like me using wrist vibrato o.o, but I'm not so sure. My teacher did also tell me that I need to relax and try not to tense up... Maybe that's why I don't quite think my arm vibrato sounds pretty? So what do you guys think? Is there a type that you think is better, or you would prefer? Or maybe whatever vibrato is easiest and comfortable for the musician would be the best choice? Thanks! Btw, I'm a freshman in high school, if that helps anything xD) (link)

ive been playing violin for 4 years and viola for 1. i didnt know there were more than one type of vibrato... ahhaha. i think we use finger vibrato... it sounds pretty.. haha. hope i helped! good luck! and keep on playing!

Okay, so I play guitar and drums. My problem lately is actually sitting down and learning new songs. I'm not officially in a band, but I am playing musical instruments, so therefore; I have to learn new songs on a weekly basis. If I want my dream to come true, then someone has to help me out! I need advice on music to learn; Like: Rock 'n Roll, Jazz, Funk, Blues, Classic... ANYTHING!! As long as it's good!

Find your favorite type of music. and if you like anything, find your favorite songs, and search for the sheet music or learn by ear. that will make it fun and interesting to you because its songs you like.

You can try going to (type this into google) bresso mp3 search, and type it in there. i have good luck getting music from there! and its free!

ok. well you have to convert them to MP4 or MPEG format. there is a good site for that.... Zamzar.com
and then put it into itumes and then onto your ipod! i hope i helped, and if you need any more information just ask!

I heard a song on the radio today and I really liked it, but I searched on Google and everything and I can't find what it is.
The singer sounds like Nickelback, but I guess it's not because I looked at all their lyrics and it doesn't have it.
The song says "Ayo" a lot, and it's somewhat up beat, but still rock.

I have a song on my iTUNES that won't sync on my iPOD..But everything else is working fine..And it plays fine on it..It just won't show up on my iPOD? I know I still have some space. (link)

Ok so theres 2 things you can try. if it shows on ur ipod but wont play, delete it, wait a minute and try putting it bak on your ipod
or go to itunes library and right click, slect the button convert selection to AAC. and then put the one it makes onto your ipod..

My iPod lists music alphabetically, but for some reason, songs that begin with a number are always last.. (For example, a song called "13 Stars" would come after "xepher", or something..) ..And it's really annoying.
Is there any way to get the iPod to list songs in numerical order BEFORE the songs in alphabetical order? Or is my iPod just broken? (link)

go to either Itunes or settings on ur ipod(i dont remember which), and it will be there to change it!

Hey, I absolutely LOVEEEE this band and I recently found out that they are coming to my town, the only problem is I dont know if my parents will let me and my friend go. At times, they can me strict and a little protective....Are there any suggestions any of you can think of to persuade my parents to let me and my friend go see the best band in the whole entire world....lol

I think it would help a lot if you offered to pay for all or part of the tickets, and if they are afraid of you and your friend being alone, tell them that one of them could go, or an older friend that you have.
