Q: What makes a good cheerleader? And what steps should someone take in conditioning for cheerleading auditions?

Have you ever watched a cheer competition? If you go on to youtube.com, there's plenty of videos of cheer teams performing. If you watch the indivual girls, you'll notice that the good ones are really tight in their motions, and they know where their motions are supposed to be. They also have a ton of facials. All of these are really important in a cheerleader because a cheerleader is a performer. The attitude is also important. If you have a crappy attitude, no one is going to want you to be on the team, regardless of how good you are. No one will trust you in a stunt, and no one is going to be nice to you. So attitude is important.
As for the conditioning, literally anything and everything will help. Cheer takes ALL of your muscles, so you have to tone each of them. Running is also important because cheerleaders need to have a lot of stamina, especially since they dance, cheer, tumble, stunt and yell, all without taking a break, and a lot of the time at the same time. So just get out and go runnning. Do some V-Ups (google! =]) and anything else that you can do. Good luck!

Hun, you are stupid. Sorry to be blunt, but you signed an agreement saying that you're 13 and up, and you JUST posted that you're eleven. Stupid mistake.
But back to the advice, sounds like you need a new bff. Did they know you liked him? If the answer is yes, then they are not you're best choice in friends, and you need to find someone new. As for him, for him to say no to you, then say yes to your best friend, that's pretty jacked up. You need to find someone else. And don't get all heartbroken over it. You have so many years ahead of you for heartbreak and all that good stuff. Enjoy being small and still able to act immature without people thinking you're weird. Don't get all hung up on some guy that was a jerk or a 'bff' that doesn't deserve your friendship.
