When you are re-selling tickets and checking laws to see if it is legal to resell them for more than face value in a certain state... do those laws still apply through online sites such as Stub-hub?
Like if I'm in Michigan and buy tickets for a concert in California and can no longer go... do California ticket reselling laws apply to me in Michigan?

http://seatgeek.com/blog/ticket-industry/ticket-resale-laws heres a site about ticket scalping laws by state. as for state to state i haven't a clue. as for reselling for more than what you purchased for, im pretty sure thats illegal no matter what state youre in. just read the site and educate yourself properly to avoid any prosecution

It is not illegal to resell tickets for more than face value in a lot of states. I appreciate you answering my question, but you shouldn't give advice on topics you aren't educated on.
