I am a regular girl who likes making people happy.
I wanna help as much people even if just to give a second opinion or to remind and open the mind to new possibilities. Sometimes we know the answer deep inside of us, we just want to confirm it through others' advice. I am here to listen and help.
I love baking and doing crafts and am easily bored thats why I love this website!
Let us all make this world a better place- be a good example for others and lets empower ourselves by keeping informed and please stop judging!
Big hugs to you all!!! Have a good day!

I'm 17/f

So my mum has always been like really overprotective of me and things, as in she barely lets me walk out of the house alone and when I do I have to bring my phone and text her, and she also tells me what coat to wear and things, despite me saying I'm old enough blah blah blah to decided.
Also, we always get in arguments. Like she woke me up today, just by coughing in the small hours on the landing but really loudly, so I jsut, you know groaned. And she went BALISTIC.
All day she's been going on how I shouted at her in the night and things, and I feel like saying well I'm just a teenager, and occaisonally I do get moody. But she doesn't understand!
I am going to Uni inSeptember, but want to solve this now.
What should I do to solve this? (link)
Hi there!!
Guess what, Im 35 and my mom is STILL like that!!!
over, OVER protective...
ok, lets just think why they are acting this way..
1) there are so many terribe news about really bad happenings going on around us. they just want to keep us safe a spossible
2) Imgine if you were a mom and you had a precious daughter, im sure you would act the same (imagine your new phone or stuff, you want it with you all the time, what more a daughter)
3) on times when it really irritates you, just imagine how many times you must have been so irritating when you were a little baby, crying and so hard to feed etc etc, she was there for you and nurtured you and taught you what you are now.... she was patient with you and Im pretty sure it was hard for her too.. maybe its time now for us to be patient with them...
4) laugh it off, its hard, i know, but seriously, you HAVE a mom, imagine other kids with no mom, or no one caring for them, no text messages, no concern...
5) maybe understand she might be going through some emotional or physical stresses herself.. our mom's arent perfect.. sometimes they feel stuff too...
Reassure her all the time, and prove her wrong when she is worried.. be patient and im sure you will be back to having a healthy relationship again.
Hope i was able to help, youre not alone.. youre LUCKY! :)

Thanks, I guess when I'm older I will see that I'm lucky. I already reassure her though and help her, so when it gets thrown back in my face I guess thats why I feel unlucky.
