Ok so Im 13/f and my first period happened at the end of Septemeber. I waited for the next one with the date on my white board in my room but it never came so i decided maybe it would be late so i marked down the next one after that and nothing came. When i had my period in September, it never turned red, it was like brown (like i pooped my pants). So i decided that maybe the first one wasnt a period and moved on. In December, I got my period again. It sayed the same poop brown colour and never changed to red. After it was over, nothing happened in January or February yet. So my friends say Im lucky that I only get my period every 3 months but Im kinda scared. I told my mom but she didnt say anything. Im definately NOT going to a doctor to get it checked out, that would be awkward. But I have something in my undies (doesnt look like discharge) and its kinda slimy and sticky. (I have had the weird stuff since I was 11). I dont know what to do, any advice? (link)

First off, let me start by saying that the brown stuff is what usually happens near the beginning and ending of your periods. Sometimes that's all you may receive as your period, depending on your body.So there is nothing to worry about there.
Secondly, I know you're suppose to get your period every month, but some periods are irregluar, and that's perfectly normal. It could be from stress, etc. I wouldn't worry as much about that, but it's still something to look into.
And about that "slimy, sticky discharge", it would have been helpful if you included a description of it. Maybe colour? You could check online for what different types of discharge mean. But if you don't think it's discharge, and you can't find internet solutions, then you really need to notify your mom, and make sure she listens.
Going to the doctor about these problems can be embarassing, but it's better to be safe then sorry.
