When it comes to genes you learn in science class about recessive genes and dominant genes. It just means that your non-indian parent had more dominant genes in the role of your creation. While in the future should they have another child, your non-indian parent's genes may be more dominant. I come from an asian white family. My mother being asian, and my father being german. My brother and I don't look like sibling at all, as he takes more after my father, and I take more after my mother. During both our conceptions, my mother's genes were at the time more dominant than my fathers, and vice versa for my sibling.
