I Do not have any photos of myself available yet, so my seven year old is filling in for me. Isn't he cute?
The best advice I can give anyone is leverage the power of the internet. If you are just looking for answers to a homework question or seeking business ideas, the net is the place to start. Not only does the net provide information, it can also be leveraged to make anyone lots of money.
Hi, my name is Tammy, I am 32 years old, I live in Las Vegas, Nevada with my son and his daddy. I love helping people with their problems and I also really enjoy getting to know new people. So, look around my column. Maybe I have given advice that you could use someday!
Looking forward to helping you!
P.S. If you are interested in knowing how I am leveraging the net to build my fortune, please e-mail me!!
advice
I just recently finished a bunch of stressful exams, and a period of stress induced (and antibiotic induced) anxiety/melancholy. It's summer now and i feel much better, ready to get my life back on track, but i'm scared i'm still going to have the occasional 'black day', like a day where i fall into anxiety again and don't feel like doing anything. Any advice on how i can keep myself up beat and enjoy the awesome summer??
Dear "Need to get my life started again",
The feelings you are having are normal signs of distress.
Stress is what you have in your life, and distressed is what you become when the stress gets to be overwhelming. Common in the society we have been forced to accept as human nature.
It all starts with attitude. Your attitude will dictate how your day goes. If you have a bad attitude, then it will cause you to have bad day.
In turn your stress increases and you become more distressed; until you finally go postal and run over a mailbox.
So we know it is you who determines your stress level with the attitude that you have towards things. Let things go. If you can look at everything, and handle everything with a good attitude, your stress level will drop to almost nothing.
This was a lesson I had to learn over time. It is hard to keep a good attitude when you have other people influencing your thoughts, actions, and beliefs.
The key is to remember that you are in control of your attitude. The moment you feel yourself getting a bad attitude, or the moment you notice you having one, stop, take some breaths, and think of something you love dearly. Once you have that thought, think of something that makes you happy inside. Now, smile and change your attitude to reflect the happy, forgiving, and loving person that you are.
It was not easy for me to change my attitude. There are so many negative influences, that I even went as far as setting my ring tone to say "Attitude, attitude, attitude. It is the single most important factor to guarantee good results, day in, and day out, everyday of our lives."
I got that from a self help tape. Do not remember if it was Dale Carnegie or Earl Nightingale. I have used both of their advice on living happy.
I would have my best friend call me every morning, at lunch, and bedtime, During the day I would have friends calling too.
I heard that ring tone so much that now, I cancel negative thoughts the moment they enter my brain.
I can tell you this is the only medicine that works for combating distress.
A Positive Attitude will include, Forgiveness, Honesty, and Love. If these things are not prevalent in your life, depression will surely take over. Misery loves company. However, Misery cannot live here there is Forgiveness. To be forgiving of anything, you must first take stock in a positive attitude towards everything.
A positive and forgiving attitude will always calm
you, and usually suppress any anxiety in your life.
Always look for the good in things. Never the bad.
Find the positive in everything, even in death. Laugh a lot too. Make jokes about everything.
Life is way too short to be distressed all the time. Your life, not just the summer, will reflect the attitudes of the ten people you spend the most time around.
Spend time around people like me, always laughing, even in the face of uncertainty. Making jokes, and finding the funny in everything. I give a lot too. I give of myself, my time, and my energy in the name of love, to those that need it.
I have given you the advice that I live my life by. It is a powerful anti-depressant and life stimulant.
Good Luck!
