I Do not have any photos of myself available yet, so my seven year old is filling in for me.

Isn't he cute?

The best advice I can give anyone is leverage the power of the internet. If you are just looking for answers to a homework question or seeking business ideas, the net is the place to start. Not only does the net provide information, it can also be leveraged to make anyone lots of money.

Hi, my name is Tammy, I am 32 years old, I live in Las Vegas, Nevada with my son and his daddy. I love helping people with their problems and I also really enjoy getting to know new people. So, look around my column. Maybe I have given advice that you could use someday!

Looking forward to helping you!

So, I got my hair cut a lot shorter than it has been in a long time, and now I want it to grow back out. I am a 19/M, not sure if that really changes anything. I have biotin pills, but is there anything else that I can do to help my hair to grow more quickly? I am also going to start brushing/combing my hair more to see if that helps any. I am desperate for it to grow back out! I miss my long hair so much. Thanks in advance!

Dear 'I want my hair to grow out, fast!',

I followed the link given by YoungMommy and read the steps.

I think, for the most part, the steps tell you everything you should do according the current Society's Standards.

My grandmother was 2/3 Indian and she had the longest, thickest, healthiest, fastest growing hair and nails. I only see hair like hers in women who keep their hair braided constantly, and almost NEVER use any Shampoo, Soaps, or Conditioners. They wash their hair with plain water, since most shampoos strip your hair of the natural oil BUILD-UP that is essential to protect your hair and prevent damage.

Using chemicals in your hair is a nasty way to care for it. So when I see you getting advice that tells you to use shampoos and conditioners, or pills to get your hair to grow, I want to scream "MISINFORMATION!"

Believe it or not, even brushing your hair will damage it, always use medium tooth combs and never comb it when it is wet.

Once you have not used shampoos or conditioners on your hair for about 3 weeks, you will start noticing your hair getting healthier. Also, your diet will affect how fast your hair grows. Massaging the scalp helps too.

Use food to help your hair grow faster. Eat foods that are medicine for the body.

Everyone is different. What helps my hair grow, may keep yours from growing. Pills are not the answer, but part of the problem. Depending on your genetic background, those hair pills are probably doing damage to your system, and possibly slowing hair growth. Everyone is different.

Good Luck!

Doktor Tammy

(Rating: 3) The advice was very good, but one big thing was that something she said had no support and was in fact wrong. A lot of what she said was very true, but I am unable to follow the advice due to external factors. The advice was good, but did not fit my specific needs and had a few flaws.
