hm, well i've been hurt by manslags and guys who act like dicks but never really heartbroken although i've felt it. I started texting this guy he wasn' anything special but seemed sweet and i didn't think he'd hurt me. at first he was sacry but sweet. but recently he hasn't been texting me as much and is sarcy and mean. he avoids being sweet anymore and i feel like im desperate because i have very low self confidence. saying that I can do better but ive turned a few guys down and i haven't had a bf in 2 years which makes me look pathetic. but i really like this guy although we didn't talk much at school, I say hi and if i explain a bit of how i feel he says im gullable and he wants to text me. But he winds me up smokes weed and isn't the best looking. im starting to get over him but thats not what I want. I told him i liked him ages ago, but he thought i didn't like him anymore, i don't know if hes stopped texting becaus hes not interested or what. but he probably isn't i just cba with relationships :'( (link)

Being single for 2 years doesn't make you pathetic. Smoking weed and being apathetic towards an awesome girl makes someone pathetic, a.k.a. the dude in your story. It's not easy for everyone to move on and forget about a person overnight. It will take time, but from what I'm reading, he's not giving you the care and attention you deserve. I don't know what's going on in his head but it looks like it's best to give him his space and see if he texts or not. If he does, okay awesome, let's see what happens next. If he doesn't, well, his loss. You wanted to be there for him and he blew it away completely. You've done nothing wrong, you're an awesome person.
