A boyfriend should care about whenever the circumstance. Your boyfriend should love to be nice to around their friends so that they would treat you with the same kind of respect. You should tell your boyfriend whats up. If he still acts like a jerk then he isnt worth it. Just make sure you let him know whats up and if he still acts the same he isnt worth your time.
