so i have a boyfriend lets call him timothy and my bestfriend lets call him lloyd, they are also best friends. but timothy is jealous of how well i get along with lloyd and how well we know each other. i just dont know what to do i have tried to explain that i have known lloyd longer but he is still jealous. any advice? Even though your friendship with lloyd is completely innocent, see it from timothy's perspective, if the tables were turned you would probably feel the same. So, just try and include timothy, like if there's a private joke between you and lloyd, explain it to tim or try and avoid making it infront of him. Maybe try having more time where it's just you and your boyfriend, without any friends around. You shouldn't change because friends are just as if not more important that boyfriends but you could maybe try and tone down the closeness when timothy is with you.
