I have an art project that's due in 3 weeks, and I can't think of anything. It's loosely based on Arcimboldo's paintings (the guy who painted portraits of people using fruits for their facial features). We have to make an item out of a lot of other items. Some examples my teacher told us are: a saddle made out of "wild west" stuff like snakes, a whip, a cactus, cowboy hat, etc., a motorcycle made out of candy, and a VW beetle car made out of insects. The thing is, the objects inside and the overall object have to relate to each other. I'm so lost on what to do and when I was asking my teacher about subjects I was thinking about doing, she didn't really seem all that thrilled about my ideas. And I keep thinking of really good general ideas for the big picture, but I can't think of enough smaller objects to relate to it. Please help, ANY ideas are greatly appreciated! Thanks! (link)
Hey,

That seems like such a fun project!
These are some ideas I can think of:
- An artist's palette and easel using art supplies.
- A giant jewelry item using sequence and beads.
- A Marilyn Monroe head/figure using cut outs from fashion magazines.
- A clothing item using Barbie/miniature outfits.
- A representation of the world map using spices from different parts of the world.
- A garden scene using dried leaves, flowers, etc.
- A raincoat using old umbrellas.
I could keep going on and on. Have a lot of fun with this! I hope I inspired you a little =).
