Hi, 15, female. So, I have a best friend. He has been that since 3rd grade. Although we don't hang out outside of school I still consider him my best friend because no matter what he is ALWAYS there for me. Everybody at my school says he likes me, they see it in his eyes, that he looks at me so differently from the other girls. They say when we talk he smiles the whole time. I'm not sure if you guys are aware of the rubber bands in the different shapes of animals and such but I texted him one day and told him how cool they were and how much I liked them, that if he asks he can have one and he wasn't in the best mood (fight with his brother) that night so he was being snarky and saying things like "I bet they aren't even that cool" or "I don't want one, don't even show me them" but the next day I showed them to him and he took one. So now we both wear the same animal and everything. His brother said "Aw, so cute, now you have a piece of her everywhere you go". I like to think that is true but his brother just likes making fun of people. I kinda think that he does have more than friends feelings for me but I'm not sure maybe it's just the seven years of friendship. I don't know I just think he's an amazing person. He plays songs on his guitar for me when I'm sad because he knows I like that. He helps me in english and social studies because I'm not to good in those classes. He holds open doors for me and is such a gentleman. He wasn't going to go to a dance at my school but after an a couple of texts I got him to come and he sat at my table. Then afterward I asked if he had fun and he said "Eh, I kinda wish I didn't go" I said "yea me too" and he said "Why's that?" and I told him that I didn't like that he went and most of the time the girl that has the hugest crush on him in my school followed him everywhere and he didn't come over to me. I got so upset but he apologized and then we were cool with each other. Although this girl bothers him he doesn't have the heart to tell her he doesn't feel the same but we talk about it all the time, how much she annoys him and everything. We pretty much tell each other everything. Now, before I asked him who he liked and he told me but he got over her because 1. I didn't like her and 2. He realized she didn't treat him right. So a few days ago, I asked him who he liked and he said "..nobody". Sorry it was long but do you think he does like me and if you think so, why? Thanks!! (link)

wow it realy sounds like he likes you and if he's willing to walk around with an animal braclet without imbarasment (most guys would be imbarased but will do it if they realy like you) than I think he may go out with you if you prompt him to ask you out a bit more. Prompt; you can start a conversation with him mabey about a new movie and say with a cheerfull smile "so can you take me to see this? ha?". If he likes you he will say shure unles he doesent have the money. If he does take you just stay close to him durring the movie and let him know you realy like him by smileing always and call him babey when ever you tell him something and stay close to him AT ALL TIMES accept for when he's in the bathroom that might be kind of creepy lol.
