i'm in a long distance relationship, and its a new thing for me also. But what I have learned is to constantly stay communicated. We talk about everything. We text little cute notes to each other. Sometimes we go out watch the same movie and discuss it the next day. We always tell each other how we feel about each other because it is very easy for us to forget. If I call and he dont pick up, I dont nag or bitch about it cause I trust him, and he does has a social life...to be honest, in the beginning it was hard to communicate with him, but as time went by it got easier. You both have to be patient with one another, and understand each other. Make sure when you do see each other, make it a moment you both wont forget. MAke it speacial, so when you guys go back to your normal lives, you have a special memory of each other to keep the fire burning, and keep the relationship interesting. Because LDR can get very boring very fast. And since you dont see each other much, make it a romantic day. no arguing, no nagging, all about you and him. And dont be shy to express your feelings to him.
