Do blood tests usually hurt more than shots? Is there a lot of swelling like when I have had shots in the past? I have to have one done and I am like terrified of it! Help?

SHOTS SUCK! BLOOD TESTS ARE EASY! ^_^

A blood test is a relatively painless process, you've probably already had your blood tested in the past but you don't remember. In most blood tests, the doctor asks you to extend your index finger and he holds a device up to it. Then he presses a little button that quickly clicks it and you're all done. The process doesn't take but a quick second and you're done. You won't see a needle so you won't even know when you should be afraid. Its really quick, it doesn't hurt at all. Its just like.. A tiny little prick ya know? I promise you're going to be completely fine! : ) Oh, and theres no swelling either.
