Hi, Advicenators. I am a sophomore in high school and I like a boy in the same grade as me. He is such a nice guy but lately rumors have been flying about him and I feel bad for him, he had recently broken up with his girlfriend of a few months, but he said it needed to be done. They're on a talking level but she likes someone else and I hope he likes me. So, that's what you are here for!
1) he calls me giggles because I laugh a lot
2) he does cute stuff for me like getting me paper if I need it or holding open doors for me 3) he always makes fun of my laugh not like a 'omg your laugh is so obnoxious' it's more like a 'she laughs so much, her laugh makes me laugh
4) he always talks to me in a gentle voice like if he talks to loud I'll break
5) he also seems a bit on the nervous side, almost like he's choosing his words before he says them
6) he looks me in the eyes when we talk, my friends say it's so bad if you are talking to a guy and he can't even look at you so I made it known that he can at least look me in the eyes
7) I was behind on a project in one of our classes and he pulled the chair out next to him and told me to sit next to him so he can help me (my teacher didn't even tell him to)
8) today he told me he laughed at something that was totally serious and he said he thought of me when he laughed

Those are defenet signs of liking. He sound so sweet! Looks like youve got a great guy there. If your ok with making the first move then go and ask him to do somthing casual first like go to the movies with some friends. Then when you feel ready ask him out on a date and if he says yes then trust me you will know what to do from there. Good luck!
