What is the shopping like in Japan? If I went out in the town with like $1,000.00 (American) could I have a nice night with my friend. Like going to a nice restaurant, doing some shopping, maybe getting some desert and stuff? You know not like light necklace shopping, I mean like some pants and shoes and accessories and stuff like that for both of us and still have enough to go to a restaurant and a club and get our nails done? Thanks (link)

well im using a converter and one Japanese yen is equal to one penny. One american dollar is about 95 yen. im fairly sure, if you dont completely over-do it, you and some friends can have a nice time in japan. :)

Thank you for the advice. I want to know the actuall prices though you know. Give you a good example. In guyana 1 dollar is like 500 guyanese dollars, but the prices are the same...so if you were to buy a bag of peanuts here it would cost you maybe 2 dollars and there it would cost you 1000 dollars :) so there is no real savings :) that is what I want to know. But that you for that info.
