(not sure if i have this in the right catogry sorry if not)
anyway so i was out with friends last night and basicly i smoked when i was drunk =/
i feel horrible and so guilty now because its something i SWORE id never do or touch off of.
because my grandad was a heavy smoker and died of lung cancer,my mum smokes and has warned me never ever to go near them and i had such strong opinions about it.
if she found out she would kill me let alone be seriously disapointed
so ive gone against everything ive said or thought about smoking..
but now im wondering will this effect my health?,i dont mean to sound stupid but i smoked about 4cigs,could that do much damage to my lungs?
also ive still got a slight taste of them in my mouth even though ive drank loads of water and brushed my teeth like a million times how long will this take to away?
thanks for anyone who answers sorry if this seems incredibly stupid.

The taste will go away soon enough: at this point, it's probably only psychosomatic. You did absolutely no damage to your lungs (whatever was done has been repaired in the time you spent writing out your question) and you have nothing to worry about.
I know that you see this as a major slip up and a violation of everything that you've ever believed in, but getting drunk and having four cigarettes is no reason to feel this guilty. Just don't take up smoking now: as somebody who has smoked and went through an entire year trying to quit (and succeeding), I can say it's the worst decision one can make.
