about

After a while you learn the subtle
difference between holding a hand and
chaining a soul, And you learn that
love doesnt mean leaning and company
doesnt mean security, And you begin to
learn that kisses arent contracts and
presents arent promises, And you
begin to accept your defeats with your
head up and your eyes open, with the
grace of an adult, not the grief of a
child And you learn to build all your
roads on today because tomorrows ground
is too uncertain for plans. After a while
you learn that even sunshine burns
if you get too much.
So plant your garden and decorate your
own soul, instead of waiting for someone
to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really are strong,
And you really do have worth.

I've recently begun to think about my future, and I figure that I'm becoming about the age when I can get a job. So, I've decided I'm going to start making a rough draft of what I want my future to look like and how much it will cost so I can know what my general goal is. I've already done a bit of research, but I'd rather have other opinions and facts to compare what I'm thinking too. So, here it goes:

-I am going to begin studying for my drivers permit as soon as I turn 15 so I'll only have to wait 1 more year to get my license. This being said, I'm going to start my saving for a car. What is the average insurance cost for a 16 year old girl? Also, any recommendations on the type of car to get? I don't care about fancy cars, as long as it gets me from point A to point B and has good mileage.

-I already know I want to go to college. My previous semester (freshman year) GPA was 3.507 and I'm working on raising it in order to get a good scholarship. I also play volleyball and I'm hoping that will help me get into college on a scholarship as well. I was thinking as a career choice that I could be an author, graphic designer, architect, or illustrator, but I have yet to narrow down that list. So, I probably need to go to an arts school, but I'd still like to have a good degree and whatnot. Any college or scholarship reccomendations?

-Last, for now, I would like to have a rhinoplasty surgery (Nose job) when I get older. This may seem kind of silly, but it really means a lot to me and no one is going to change my mind. So, does anyone know (for a FACT) of any good surgeons in a nice, clean facility with an experienced staff? I'm looking for cheap, but I want it to be a good job, so if it must be expensive, I'll pay. The thing about this goal is I don't know at what time I should get it. I mean, I know I'll probably get it sometime before I'm out of college, but I'm not sure when would be the best timing.

Those are 3 of my top goals for now, though I'm sure I'll probably add more some time later. Please do not critisize my desicions, I have already made up my mind. I would love ANY advice you could possibly give me on ANYTHING that might help and I will rate. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this!!!!!

WOW.

When I was your age I don't think I can remember the time when I was even that organized with my clothes, let alone laying out a plan for the future.

Well, I'm not here to judge. In fact, it's such a refreshing knowledge that there are kids out there who are passionate about their future. Kudos to you for being one of a kind.

With reference to your questions, unfortunately I cannot impart any specific answers because I live in a different part of the globe and what we do here with the license and college scholarships and everything is kinda different there. I suggest for you to scout through the net where endless possibilities and various choices can be found. You can ask close friends, and better yet sit down and talk with your parents about your plans. They would be the best people to help and guide you.

I think I'll just cheer you on and wish you luck on all your pursuits in life. Wish you all the best!
