Okay when I was a sophomore I was dating this girl that I'd been with for a long time. I think around 3 years. I met this girl named Daisy. Well I never cheated on Lorri or even thought about it. But I really grew fond of Daisy and we became really great friends. Today I dug out an old notebook me and Daisy kept together and I noticed she liked me back then but now she is dating this guy she's been with for two years and I know I still care about her a lot but when I saw her today and hugged her I couldn't tell her how I felt because I felt guilty. I don't want to cause a problem with our friendship or her relationship...what am I supposed to do? (link)

I think you should just ask Daisy straight out how she feels about you, and tell her you found the notebook. Don't say how you feel before she says how she does in case she has moved on for good, and you don't want to put your friendship in danger. If she says she still does have feeling for you then tell her how you feel because you know that she feels the same way and loves you back. But if she says that she has moved on and loves the guy she is with now then just leave it at that. If she asks why you asked then just tell her you were curious.
If she says she doesn't feel anything anymore and you can't seem to move on like her than you can always try to make her feel that way again. Be extra nice to her and compliment her. Even the littlest things can really count. Take some lessons from Edward Cullen from Twilight and try to show her that you care more for her than she really knows. Just be there for her and see what happens. Don't feel guilty anymore because that will make you seem nervous in front of her and after all you had no idea that she felt this way about you back then and she should've told you how she felt.
