That's myself and my girlfriend, Mackenzie. We share an apartment with a chubby kitty. My specialty is computers - nearly every angle of them; so ask away!! I'll be glad to help where I can.

Earlier on today, I was deleting and transferring some stuff on my laptop to my exHD.
Later on I put a CD in the laptop and now a message pops up and says ''No CD/DVD-ROM drive found''
I don't know how or why, but now my cd drive is gone. It was there before I started to transfer the things.
Is there any way to get it back?
I really need help with this!!

Thank you so much in advance! (link)
It makes sense. That means the driving is missing.
I would restart and before windows starts up quickly hit "f8" and then select the option for last good configuration. also if that doesn't work you could possible good for the driver. type in "HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T10N driver" or something like that. or depending who makes the computer it would be on there site.
