My brother sent me some songs that he had on a CD, and I added them to iTunes, updated my iPod and then closed iTunes.
Today when I open up iTunes are gone.
So I add the songs again.. later on I close iTunes.
I just opened it again, and the songs ARE GONE!
I tried adding other songs and the same thing happens.
How can I fix this? I'm getting really pissed off :( (link)

Have you just been playing the songs off of the cd using itunes? I have a suspicion that that is the case.
My suggestion (which may be what you have already been doing) is to insert the cd, then in itunes goto advanced and import cd.
This is probably what you did , but besides the previous advice you were already given about copying to a folder first , is the only thing I can think of right now .

Nope.
I know how to import shit, and generally use iTunes...I'm not that retarded ;)
The only problem I can't fix is the songs I've got from the CD and also songs I downloaded...they don't stay in iTunes.
And the songs aren't ON a cd...they are saved on my computer.
