My name is Chelsea, I'm 17 & a senior in high school. I like giving advice and helping people in general. I have the most experience in areas like family issues, dealing with friends and losing friends, pregnancy scares, and moving. I've made mistakes and learned from them. That's where my experience comes from. So why not help someone in the same situation that you've already been in? I'll try to do just that, and if you have a question don't hesitate to ask!

My friends and I (It will probably be me and 2 or 3 others) want to take a trip to a beach, possibly over spring break, or if not, the summer. we're wondering about how much it would cost to rent an apartment or something within walking distance of the beach for a week. we don't particularly care where, as long as its by the ocean and WARM. How much would the trip cost, approximately? We don't plan on doing big things-- mostly just hanging out on the beach and sight-seeing. we'd probably drive there in a small car, so i'm not sure how much gas would cost...
basically, i'm just looking for some estimates here to get the planning going. we're happy to stay pretty much anywhere. we're not picky and we don't have a lot of money. suggestions, please? (link)

Hey, I live in Wilmington North Carolina. It's right on the coast and there are like three major beaches here, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, and Kure Beach (which is basically the in the same place as Carolina Beach). There's also Topsail Island/Topsail beach and thats in Surf City North Carolina which is about twenty minutes away.
Wrightsville is in my opinion the "nicest" of the bunch, probably Wrightsville or Topsail are the most expensive, but IS a nice area. Here are some apartments and the prices I found for them.

Carolina Beach is my favorite, and probably your best bet. There are a lot of apartments and things out there, a lot of cool places, and a lot of places with good food. It's more developed than the rest, but when you're closest to the ocean it's not bad. Here's some for Carolina Beach.

And also here are some for Kure Beach. The only thing I've seen seperating Kure Beach and Carolina Beach are some signs on the side of the road saying "you're now in Kure Beach", pretty much the same place,.same area.

There were only a few I could find for Topsail. But, there's a ton of cool places to go at Topsail too. And a really good seafood place called Crabby Mikes, if you like that kind of stuff.

hope i helped and good luck!
