Tell the parents that you're going to a movie with a large group of friends. Have the friends pick him up and everything, and then have them drop him off with you at a place of your choosing.
THAT is how you do a secret rendevous.
But places with friends are haunted houses (tis the season), the rec center, movies, mall, restaurant, someone's house for a scary movie night (the Exorcist and Emily Rose are classics for that) and ya know, just stuff you do with your friends.
