Q: Never ever pump the mascara wand in and out of the tube, this causes air to fill into the tube which causes the mascara to dry out faster.

^ air does get into the tube though when you put the brush back in, doesnt it? just not as much?

what if you need a second coat? by pumping is it repeated pumping thats not good or can you just put the wand in and wriggle it around then take it back out?

Its okay to

but wiggle it around. Dont do the
whole Churning Butter Motion.

So Basically
the whole repeated pumping
motion is not good.
