I had a best friend when i was five. She moved away and i didnt see her until i was eight and then i havnt seen her since [im 15 now]. I spoke to her recently through myspace/bebo/facebook/msn etc and she is coming down where i live due to family commitments and her and her mum are going to drop by for a visit. My mum and her mum are great friends, so they will have plenty to talk about/ But me and my "best" mate, we've talked on msn and stuff and she seems so nice and so friendly but what if its awakard and there is nothing to talk about, what should i do? I mean she suggested the arrangements, so she must want to see me...what do i do? How can i keep us talking (link)

find old pictures of you two or ask your mum about good memories you two had, then when you guys meet up show her the pictures and talk about things you both remember, then to make it not so akward, casually ask your mum and her mum what they remember about you two, then tell her some common interest you have, or a good movie or book you enjoyed, then you guys might have things in common
