mmkay well I know that no one really likes to talk about political things because it brings up a lot of contreversy. But I feel like I'm confused with my political party status. So if you could..could you help me by giving me information on all the political parties in the U.S. (like their beliefs and what they live by)? So that way it'll be easier for me to determine which political party I belong to. Thanks so much,
Michelle Monster
Hi, it's great that you're trying to learn more about politics. Here are some links for you to look at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Republican_Party_(United_States)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Party_(United_States)
Those are the major parties. Another party is the Libertarian party:

Don't feel like you have to limit yourself to one particular party if you don't fully share all the beliefs of that party. There are many Americans who are independent, moderate, etc.
Some people choose not to belong to a political party, but they research the candidates and vote on which one they would like to be president anyway. That's so that they can make a decision based on what they think is right for our country, not necessarily just who has the nomination for their political party.
