ok so this is a pretty long question with a few parts, please answer all.
in the beginning of july, i saw an old friend from when i was younger. i'd seen him a few times since but he'd grown a lot this past time. he's become really cute and my mom agrees, she really liked the idea of us possibly getting together. we started talking but my past with guys made it difficult to fully trust him and i got kind of bitchy to him, which i take full responsibility for. now we aren't talking and its been a week since he's talked to me and he just ignores me now, even though i've apologized. this saturday is his graduation party so i'm going to have to see him. how should i react to seeing him when i know he's not as thrilled as i am? how can i possibly make him forgive me more? are there any little ways to get his attention for the few minutes i'll be seeing him? like to flirt while he's trying to ignore me ahah

I have been done so wrong in the past from cheating abuse and losing the life of my child.
One thing that you will have to learn just as i am that you cant dwell on the past or base a new relationship on it because all its going to do it slowly or quickly tear it apart before you can know what kind of great things can come from it.
let him know when you see him at the party walk up to him and ask if you can talk to him pull him aside and tell him that you were sorry that you tripped out on him just that you really do like him and that you have been hurt many times before but that your ready to let all of that go...because you have faith that thats not what his intentions are and that you will return that same kind gesture in return
