Hey guys, my question is, okay so I always tend to fall for the wrong guy, like the guy who isn't right for me. I went out with two different guys, both are nice, but theres just no chemistry, for me anyways. I liked this guy, who has been around with every single girl, I mean seriously, so it just kills me that I can waste four months liking a jackass like that, but not like other guys who are right for me. Ugh, I'm only 17 so I know I have time ahead of me, I'm just embarassed b/c my friends, are able to get any guys they want, with me I lack experience, to be completely honest. Its like I'm afraid to fall in love. I'm just really afraid of being alone forever :(
So what I'm asking is, why am I so afraid to fall in love, and why can't I fall for the right guy? ugh, is there something wrong with me?

actually i disagree its a good question. do you listen to love line at night on the radio? they explain alot of this stuff, if thats the kind of guy your mom or even your aunt is attracted to then most likely you will continue the cycle. i went through this phase until i went out with this guy i didnt really like but he liked me and i gave him a chance. believe it or not i grew to love him and we have been together for two months and things are a little rocky sometimes cause i would rather i was with some really hot guy that gets in trouble all the time and isnt really heading in the right direction. but instead i am with a guy who loves me for me and not my body or my money and doesnt just use me but actually listens to what i have to say and cares what i think. so try going for someone your not so attracted to it might feel awkward at first but give him a shot and see what happens!!!

Thanks so much for the feedback. That is great advice, I've only dated a few guys, I know its kinda sad, but oh well, I guess they just save the best for last! I dated someone I wasn't attracted too, he hasn't asked me out again, I guess he doesn't like me either,oh well, it was worth a shot. Thanks again!
