about

I love my life because I believe that I live my life to the fullest and cherish every moment of every day (despite how boring some days may be =P).
I am only 17 (going on 18), but have grown more and learned more than some people a whole lot older than me. I have gone through many chapters of my life and also changed like a chameleon, but believe that I have finally found my color. Despite any religious background someone might have, I just give my advice through advice I have been given by reading the bible, listening to peoples problems (you learn alot of things by listening to your own advice), and also listening to public speakers of many aspects.
I am not here to be a hypocrite or as a person has once said *to promote my site*, but I am more so here to help.
I believe that I have a talent for giving advice to people. I do not take personal offense to anything someone may say because I believe everyone is entitled to there opinion as I have been as well.
My promise to you, even all those that I may not know, is to be honest and use my past experiences and knowledge to help you through whatever you may be going through from problems at home to how to make a delicious cake frosting =D
I hope that all I say may help you, but if it does not, do not be upset or resentful, just keep looking for the answer that you may be searching for. Afterall, If I dont state it, it may have been in front of your face the entire time.

I was wondering, when is the best time of day to get tan? Is tanning oil a good or bad idea? Any tips? How long should i stay in the sun? How long does it take to get your face tan?
Thanks in advance
Hey,
The best time to tan is usually between 12 & 2pm because the sun is basically at its highest and strongest point.
Tanning oil isn't a very good idea because it helps you tan but usually doesn't protect from UV rays that can cause skin cancer (and more wrinkles when you're older).
The best thing to use is a sunscreen, depending on how tan you are able to get usually, you could probably use an "8" sunscreen. The 8 sunscreen will provide you with the abililty to get tan, yet still help prevent bad UV rays.
Its best not to stay in the sun for too long or you may get burned & be sure to carry/drink plenty of water so you don't become dehydrated.
And the time your face takes to get tan depends. Some people's faces don't really tan so it may take longer to get it as tan as your body. Whereas some people's faces tan quite fast.
Pretty soon I'm sure you'll have a lovely tan. Just remember not to wear bathing suits that may give you an "akward" tan.
With Love,
Kori
