I recently heard on my local radio station about John Robert Powers auditions and my mom and I called to schedule one. I have been on one of them before and apparently there are classes that they would like you to take that range from 1,000-6,000 and after you take them, they will help find you work..but there is also a casting director from Disney Channel that will be there so it's kind of like a double thing..my question is, has anyone on here ever been on one of these auditions and gotten something? Or is it just a huge scam? Like a win-lose situation?

HEY MY NAME IS BRANDY AND IM TELLIN YOU TO AVOID THEM COMPLETELY my sis went and got an agent (she went for acting )and my mom paid over a $1000 dollars for nothing cause after you get in your agent will probably call you once or twice and thats it it is a great big SCAM and a few of my friends who went there also tell me that they feel soooo stupid for actually going through with that crap but please dont waste you or your moms time and most importantly her money!!!!! please dont go!!!!!! they will teach you a few helpful things but thats about it i honestly dont think it is worth a dime not one dime!!!!!

but see, i saw in my local paper yesterday that someone in my county went through with it and is now with IPOP..so i'm so confused! i'm getting mixed reviews about it..if i did go, i wouldn't go to the school, i've already refused them in the past, i just want to get in front of the casting director they have there too..but do you think that the casting director is paid by JRP just to be there and look legit? ahhhh this so sucks!
