advice

I want a good and fast camera that is easy to use. I have a camera and it takes forever to turn on and when I want to takea picture at one given moment, it takes forever for it to load and then I miss what I wanted to take. Also it sucks out the batteries like no other. It doesn't last long and I hate it. Does anyone know a good quality camera that fits my needs and is at a good price range? I prefer Kodak but I don't mind finding a new brand. Thanks!

Hey there. For me, the problem with Kodak is that they don't really update the technology of their cameras. Sure, they have some high megapixel cameras, but nothing like Canon or Nikon.

Many of my friends have Casio Exilims. I've played with Nikons and Canons both, and it's just a matter of preference. To me, Sony is pretty overpriced- the Cybershot commercials are cool, but the Sony accessories are expensive.

My best advice is for you to go to Best Buy or somewhere like it and play with the point-and-shoot cameras in the store.

EDIT:
I just got a new camera, which I LOVE, but from what you've said it's not in your price range. Mine is a Canon XTi Digital Rebel. The only downfall is that it's so big. My sister had one too, but she got so tired of it that she recently bought a Nikon point-and-shoot. I can't remember what model it is (and I don't live with her) but I think it was around $200.

(Rating: 4) Thanks for providing those websites of wonderful cameras but I can't afford anything above $200.00. I know those other cameras like Canon are wonderful (my sis has one and i use to have a normal camera, not digital) but my price range is slim. I'll take a look when I have more money. Do you own any canon or something that you love? thanks 4 the help
