My sister and my boyfriend both have Pearls. They both love it. And yes, you can browse the net with the Pearl, but it gets pricey if you don't get a data plan. It also has a MicroSD slot. From what I've seen, they're really good phones and they both say it's easy to use. I don't know much about the 8120, though, so I can't really compare. Haha, but yeah, the Pearl is a great phone.

No, they don't have T-Mobile, they have AT&T. And they're both on family plans, which have minutes, unlimited texting, and then boyfriend has an unlimited data package thing, which lets him use the internet whereever he has service. Sorry I couldn't be more help!
