I just got a job at Subway and i start monday for training but im extreamly nervous. Its my first job. Has anyone ever worked at subway and peraps give me a few tips for working there? Thanks!!!!!! (link)
i currently work at subway, and it's my first job. i just got it as a summer job and i'm going to leave it pretty soon since school starts in a month, but i'll give you some pointers:

try to NEVER touch your clothes/face/hair/etc while you're making a sandwich and you have your gloves on. i have seriously gotten yelled at by old ladies who have seen me push my bangs out of my eyes or something and say it was "unsanitary". and they can sometimes not be so nice about it, so it makes you feel really badly. for the most part, however, customers are really nice and friendly.

if you are working with another person or two and a big line comes, try doing an assembly line- one person does meats & cheese, once person does veggies, and one person rings it all up on the cash register. if there are only one or two people in line, however, it's fine if you make the whole sandwich and ring them up.

also, try to be really careful with giving and receiving money. i know my boss gets mad if we are more than a dollar under in the drawer (you count down the drawer at the end of your shift and see how short you are and stuff). i know one girl was once short like 25 dollars and the boss was really, really mad at her.

other than that, it's really not too hard. hopefully you will have good coworkers. usually the ones who are in high school and college are the most fun to work with because when it's slow, you have stuff to talk about with them.

oh, and get someone to show you how to cut the bread right. it took me like a week to figure it out because no one really showed me. it takes a couple tries to really get the hang of it.

good luck! =]
