14/f So I have this friend lets call her emma. Emma has no other friends other then me. She had in school friends that we hung out with like "our group" and stuff but they never call her to do anything unless i set up a group thing. She also has this friend lets call her Rita from another group who she kinda hangs out with but Rita has other friends who she'd rather hang out with. And last Emma has a friend named Haley who goes running with her for soccer. Besides soccer Emma has nothing else to do. She texts me every day trying to start a conversation, trying to ask me if i want to hang out. And when i do say i can hang out it's like she plans her whole day around me, waiting for me to call her to say i can hang out. I know i should be a better friend and call her and either say okay i can hang out at this time: blah blah blah but usually i hang out with other friends and blow Emma off. I know it's mean, but i can't help it. Emma gets mad but since i'm her only friend she gets over it.
Emma won't leave me alone. At parties she follows me EVERYWHERE. She has a huge mouth and she's really loud and awkward. Now that i'm her friend it's like she doesn't even try she's always wearing icky clothes and such.
I want to stay friends with Emma but i'm sick of people thinking we are best friends? I don't like her anymore and i wanna...i just want her to stop calling me so much and following me everywhere.

Well, i used to have a friend like that, when we were alone it was a BLAST to hang out with her, when we were at school, parties, or with other friends she'd follow me. IT WAS SO ANNOYING! every time she IMed/called/texted/facebooked/myspaced me i'd ignore it every few times but not all the time. so for a day, ignore emmas texts and calls, tell her you were with your BEST FRIEND. shell get the fact you have more then one best friend, also at parties like speed off to somewhere. run thru crowds so it looks like your trying to get away from her but shell follow you. or say "ill brb stay here." or if you get in contact with the person hosting the party, ask if they cannot invite emma because you dont want her there or something.
about the fashion--thats just judgeing. but what i'd do is go onto websites, like forever21, wetseal, zumiez, abercrombie, abercrombie and fitch, pac sun, delias ETC. and be like OMG this shirt would look so cute on you, you should get it! friends listen to friends, right? :]]
