i like this guy, lets call him S.
Next month i will be a freshman, but it is not intill late next month intill i get to see him.
about 3 weeks ago his gf broke up with him. So i have not flirted as much as i wanted too becuase i figured that he would like so time to think. But now i want to step up and i would like it if he was interested in me.... but i dont know for sure if he is or not... we talk by myspace. Is there anything that i can say to hint that i like him? or that he can hint to me?

I'm really happy to hear that you care enough, to wait until he's over that girl and ready to move on. First, I would get his number, and give him yours, and ask to go to a movie or somewhere. It might be awkward at first (well I was always afraid of that) so you can do stuff in groups, so it's not totally obvious you like him. After that, you can casually ask to do something alone. I can understand that you're shy, almost everyone is lol. You can always do the usual -go to a scary movie and jump and 'accidently' grab his arm'- thing. lol sorry, it's corny i know, but it's all I can think of.

Okay, I understand it's really hard to do, but maybe have your friends become friend with him as well? Maybe they can ask to do group activities with you, and you can build up the courage to ask him to do something, just the two of you? Or maybe he'll ask you after you get to know each other?
