Q: Okay I'm 15 years old. I've had my period since I was 13. It has ALWAYS been regular, I would get it every month around the 17th. But this past March I stopped getting my period. I AM NOT SEXUALLY ACTIVE at all. Im a little concerned because I saw on Tyra last night that this girl stopped getting her period for a couple monthes & it turned out she had a brain tumor? So if you ever had this happen to you.. or if you have any advice please let me know. Thanks so much!

DONT WORRY! same thing happened to me..for 3 or 4 months! i did go on the birth control pill though, only for a month so i would be sure not to have my period on a vacation i was going on. after that month i went off of it. i had my period the following month, and then after that i didnt have it for about 4 months. my doctor and mother who worked at a hospital said not to worry. although i was on the pill, i think your situation might just be the same as mine. if its only been around a month do not worry at all! periods can be wayyyy off sometimes. especially if you've become more physically active or changed a diet or something. if it continues for much longer and you are worried, then definitely call a doctor. but for now, continue what you normally do and dont think about it, and be thankful not to have one right now. =]

Hey I'm Andrea, aka Dre or Angie. I'm 19 and livin in beautiful Colorado! I went to cosmetology school and am in the process of a fashion merchandising degree in college.
