My name is alix. I'm fourteen &i live just moved to massachusets. i love all of my closer friends; theyre my life. i like cats, and my favorite food is soanish rice. i like going to the movies with all my friends; we do it every friday. it's a routine. i love giving advice about guys, but what i really love are questions from guys about girls. im really opinionated, but im usually not very harsh when i answer things.

hi! so this boy im talking to lately...

i like him a lot. i dont love him but i do like him.
and hes really great at giving compliments. and he always tells me he loves me.

but i cant say that back because i dont love him i just like him. and he knows that.

but what do i say back to compliments?
ive just been saying the same thing back just kinda different.

any advice is great.

Don't necessarily try to compliment back every time. If he says, "I like your shirt," you can just say, "Thanks." If you really do like his shirt enough that you would compliment it anyway, you can say, "Thanks, I like yours too." You could also say, "Thanks. I like your shoes a lot, too." But unless there's something about him and on similar subject (clothes, physical features, etc.), just accept the compliment. You can give him a compliment on something else later. Try to compliment him about just as much, just not necessarily at the same time. Don't wait for him to compliment you. And really be honest. If he played really well in his baseball game yesterday, compliment his talent when you see him the next day.
